Weekly Now Hiring - Direct Hire Maintenance Technician United Staffing Group, LLC is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing facility in Blaine, MN . This is a direct-hire, full-time position , meaning the successful candidate will be hired directly by the manufacturing company. We are looking for a skilled maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose equipment breakdowns and complete repairs with limited supervision. Troubleshoot motors, sensors, PLCs, automated equipment, and electrical components. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and diagnostic equipment. Perform equipment inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacement. Respond to emergency and unscheduled maintenance calls. Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs and parts used. Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all company safety requirements. Support 5S, continuous improvement, and equipment reliability initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical training. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment independently. Basic knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and automated systems preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documents. Basic computer skills for CMMS and maintenance documentation. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently. Must be available for overtime and rotating on-call responsibilities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. periodically. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on ladders up to 20 feet. Ability to work around industrial equipment, noise, heat, fumes, and chemicals. Must be able to wear required PPE and follow all workplace safety procedures.
