Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Production Technician | Anodize Racker to join a precision metal finishing team. This position is responsible for racking and un-racking metal components before and after the anodizing process, ensuring parts are properly positioned and handled to support consistent, high-quality finishes. The ideal candidate has a stable work history, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow detailed production instructions while working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Rack metal components securely onto fixtures before the anodizing process. Position parts correctly to ensure proper contact and consistent processing. Remove finished components from racks after processing while handling parts carefully to prevent damage. Inspect components before and after processing for proper placement, quality, and potential damage. Follow established racking methods for various part sizes, shapes, and configurations. Read and follow work orders, written processes, labels, and part specifications. Use basic computer systems to review work orders and accurately record production information. Maintain proper organization and flow of parts throughout the production process. Identify and communicate quality or production concerns to supervisors. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements. Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily goals. Perform additional production responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Stable work history required. Ability to read, write, speak clearly, and understand English. Basic computer skills required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-focused. Previous manufacturing, production, or metal finishing experience preferred but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to frequently walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Ability to regularly lift, carry, position, and handle metal components and production racks. Manual dexterity necessary to securely rack and un-rack a variety of metal components. Ability to safely work around industrial equipment and production processes.
Working Conditions:
Metal finishing and manufacturing environment. Regular interaction with metal components, production racks, and industrial equipment. Moderate manufacturing noise levels. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements. Fast-paced production environment requiring consistent attention to quality and proper part handling. Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must follow established production and workplace safety procedures.
