Help Launch the Future of Aerospace Manufacturing in Mendota Heights! Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is opening a state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing facility in Mendota Heights-and we're looking for an Automation Maintenance Technician who wants to be part of something from day one. What You'll Do As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our advanced manufacturing systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably from the very start. In this role, you will:
- Support a safe, high-performance workplace by following safety and environmental standards
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across automated equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize uptime
- Document maintenance activity within our CMMS system
- Help establish and maintain a critical spare-parts inventory strategy
- Support startup activities, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Expand your skills through ongoing training, certifications, and exposure to advanced automation technologies This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, highly technical, and part of building something new from the ground up.
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Millwright, or Instrumentation & Controls (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs (especially Allen-Bradley systems)
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Comfort working with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A proactive mindset and desire to help shape maintenance systems in a new facility
What We Offer Hourly Pay:
$32.00 - $42.00 (DOE)Bonus:
