Opportunity:
In this position, you will mentor and coach Packaging Line Temporary Workers, and work on the filling and packaging line, preparing, mixing raw materials into finished product, supplying raw materials to the line's conveyor/sorter, verifying fill weights & labeling for compliance, packaging primary & intermediate packaging into shipping cartons, and placing finished cartons on pallets. Fill Line Technician maintains production day sheets. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to the packaging line operating procedures and production schedule. Performs in process inspections and final inspection of finished package components .
What You'll Be Doing:
Mentor, coach, and train Packaging Line Temp Workers on the necessary tasks associated with the pack out of finished packaged goods. Effectively operate equipment to process and fill insecticides into finished packaged goods ready for sales & distribution Clear packaging line and perform equipment setups during product change over Ensure timely and accurate completion of production paperwork/ERP transactions Perform in process inspections for compliance of finished package goods Operate Forklift in warehouse & shipping environment What makes you a great fit: High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Proficient in English reading & comprehension of vital job specifications required. 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or previous Packaging Line Temporary Worker experience Why work with our client?
