•$25/hr We are seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join an Optically Clear Adhesives (OCA) laboratory team. This role will support research, development, and quality control activities by performing physical and mechanical testing of materials and products. The position is highly hands-on and active, requiring strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, organization, and the ability to work efficiently while supporting multiple testing activities. Responsibilities Prepare materials and organize samples for product testing. Assist with laboratory experiments involving the testing and evaluation of new materials and products. Perform physical and mechanical performance testing for research, development, and quality control activities. Conduct hands-on testing using multiple types of laboratory and testing equipment. Perform visual observations and evaluations of product samples, including competitor samples. Accurately document and communicate test results to appropriate team members. Move, arrange, sort, and hang product testing weights ranging from 2-20 lbs. Follow verbal and written instructions to complete assigned testing activities. Maintain an organized and safe laboratory workspace. Identify testing issues and assist with problem-solving and implementation of solutions. Support additional laboratory activities and testing needs as assigned. QualificationsBasic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs. Ability to repeatedly lift and handle 5-lb. weights as part of testing activities. Ability to use a ladder or step stool to work from elevated surfaces. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Ability to complete assigned tasks independently with limited supervision. Preferred Qualifications Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience. College degree in a science-related field. Experience performing physical, mechanical, or product testing. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word . Strong organizational and time-management skills. Self-motivated and results-oriented approach to work. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt to changing team needs and support multiple individuals or groups. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement practical solutions. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative laboratory environment. Physical & Work Environment Active, hands-on laboratory position requiring frequent movement throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing at least 25 lbs. Ability to repeatedly handle 5-lb. weights during testing activities. Ability to handle testing weights ranging from 2-20 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform repetitive manual tasks as required. Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool when required. Requires strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Pay:

$22.00

•$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
