Job Description
The Robotics Operator is responsible for independently operating and maintaining plate processing equipment within the Plate Shop. This role supports production by cutting, forming, drilling, and preparing metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Layout, position, and secure parts according to specification. 2. Able to read Drawings and produce parts based on drawing. 3. Operate Robotic Python as necessary to produce parts. 4. Produce items daily in support of production. 5. Computer and/or CNC experience. 6. Inform leadsmen and or Foreman of shortages with material. 7. Understand how to troubleshoot. Other Duties and Responsibilities Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure Respectfully takes direction from supervisor or manager Minimum Experience and Qualifications 2 years of experience preferred Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to safety or health of employee or others. Education and/or Equivalent Experience High School Diploma and2 years of experience in shop environment preferred.
