Field Service Technician

  • Charlotte, NC Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer of industrial equipment, is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide technical service and support for industrial machinery and equipment.
This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, equipment installations, start-ups, inspections, upgrades, and operator training. The Field Service Technician will provide both on-site and telephone technical support while assisting with parts, warranty issues, product testing, and equipment performance.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment Perform on-site equipment installations, start-ups, inspections, upgrades, and operator training Provide field and telephone technical support for equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair issues Evaluate equipment performance and identify potential product, maintenance, or service improvements Coordinate field service activities from initial work request through completion Assist customers and internal teams with equipment applications, product testing, and demonstrations Provide technical support for equipment parts identification, selection, and inventory needs Document service work, maintenance activities, equipment findings, repairs, and customer issues Assist with equipment warranty and product-related issues through resolution Travel approximately 1
  • 2 times per month for customer installations and service visits
Qualifications:
1+ years of relevant technical, maintenance, or service experience Experience maintaining and/or troubleshooting industrial machinery or equipment Mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair experience Ability to travel approximately 1

Compensation:
Base salary in the 25.00/hour
