Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your hands-on mechanical skills, technical proficiency, and ability to interpret manufacturing documentation will drive efficiency and quality across our production lines. Duties Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely, adhering strictly to safety protocols and standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble components accurately according to technical drawings and production documents. Manage heavy lifting and manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and assembly lines to identify issues and support process improvements. Interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and production documentation to ensure precise execution of tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing facility, including warehouse areas, to promote a safe working environment. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and assisting in implementing lean manufacturing practices. Collaborate with team members and management to meet production targets while ensuring quality control and safety compliance. Experience Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with hands-on mechanical assembly or equipment operation. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and measurement data. Experience with warehouse operations, forklift operation, or other material handling equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing principles and safety protocol adherence. Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical assembly techniques effectively. Prior experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with technical proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
