JOB SUMMARY
Fabricate hydraulic hose assemblies in a high production environment while maintaining an outstanding degree of quality and accuracy. Perform all warehouse functions to accurately receive, stock pick and ship inventory. Understand and utilize Cross operating systems to always provide effective and efficient customer service.
II. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
HOSE
FABRICATION
Become certified to fabricate custom hose assemblies from work orders per hose certification requirements using hose cut off saw, ultraclean hose cleaning system, hose crimping machine, hose end shrink wrap sealing system and hose label machine Immediately report discrepancies to the bill of material, questionable product quality, and/or potential problems with the order entry to the Production Manager as well as to the inventory planner responsible for the product line or associate who entered the order. Exhibit teamwork in dealings with all company associates to meet goals of the division. Communicate fully to keep all appropriate people informed of important issues. Maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow all OSHA requirements to protect yourself and others. Always work toward the attainment of the department and division goals of quality and timely delivery.
III. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES WAREHOUSING
Receive and unload UPS, FedEx and Motor Freight shipments daily Operate a forklift or other powered industrial truck Check in material by matching the contents of the carton with our SuiteWM system. This match will be done after the correct purchase order for the items in the carton has been entered. Pick orders / work orders correctly by scanning the bin location and item into the picking tote as directed by the tools. Ensure that the quantity picked matches all records. Once the work order hose assembly has been completed, receive the work order, assign a bin location and shelve the material. During the kitting or packing process, scan the items in the picking tote to a shipping carton to assure accuracy of picked items (visual scan of item number/s and quantity). Packaging orders for shipping using the appropriate packing material to protect against damage by the carrier. Meet instructions & requirements as noted on the packing slip. Perform daily inventory cycle count.

V. POSITION SPECIFICATION A.
Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. 2-3 years industry-related experience or 3-5 years experience in a mechanical environment B. Knowledge Required Basic math and reading skills Operation of basic shop tools & equipment (drill press, saws, lathes, testing equipment) Basic PC and MS Office, Google Apps and Trend/TWL competency. C. Physical Requirements 1. Excellent manual dexterity 2. Ability to stand at workstations for an 8 hour shift. 3. Ability to walk over an extended distance carrying material or equipment (often). 4. Ability to move/slide and/or lift material up to a weight of 30 pounds (often). 5. Ability to bend down for low-to-ground assembly work (occasionally). . 6. General flexibility for a variety of different assembly work within a manufacturing environment.. D.
