3rd shift Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring smooth workflow on the assembly line, and maintaining high safety standards throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience with factory operations, and a commitment to quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Use measuring instruments and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and quality standards. Manage manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to support production flow. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely to assemble components and move materials within the factory. Interpret production documents, such as work orders and process instructions, to meet specifications. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and products to identify defects or issues requiring maintenance or correction. Support process improvement initiatives by suggesting efficiencies and adhering to lean manufacturing principles. Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety standards in production environments. Collaborate with team members and management to meet daily production targets while upholding safety standards. Assist in managing production or assembly teams during shifts to ensure workflow continuity. Requirements Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse procedures. Ability to interpret technical drawings, measurement instruments, and manufacturing documentation. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools. Prior assembly line experience with a focus on mechanical assembly tasks. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence. Experience with lean manufacturing practices aimed at reducing waste and improving efficiency. Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, safely and effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for quality control purposes. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within a manufacturing setting.
