Job Description

Process Manufacturing Technician Hickory, NC Lincotek Surface Solutions | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Join a Global Leader in Advanced Manufacturing Lincotek Surface Solutions is a leading surface treatment manufacturer serving the Industrial Gas Turbine and Aviation industries . We are looking for a hands-on Process Manufacturing Technician to support our Engineering and Production teams and help keep manufacturing processes running safely, efficiently, and consistently. What You'll Do Provide first-level technical support to production cells and assist operators with day-to-day issues. Troubleshoot manufacturing and process problems and communicate findings to Engineering and Production. Support machine setups, tooling, masking, equipment checks, and production readiness. Execute established process instructions, SOPs, work instructions, and parameter sheets. Use CAM software for routine program modifications and production recovery programs. Support qualification runs, collect process/KPI data, and report results to Process Engineering. Use GOM/Blue Light scanning and other measuring equipment to collect and verify part/process data. Train and assist operators with equipment, setup requirements, work instructions, and defect documentation. Identify issues requiring Process Engineer review, validation, or root-cause analysis. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment. What We're Looking For Associate degree in Engineering, Machining Technology, Industrial Technology , or equivalent manufacturing experience. Manufacturing or process support experience preferred. Experience with CAM software, program modifications, or recovery programs . Experience with GOM/Blue Light scanning is a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools . Strong troubleshooting, technical math, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with operators, technicians, engineers, and production leadership. Work Environment This is a hands-on role with approximately 80% of the time spent on the manufacturing floor and 20% in an office environment . Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Additional hours may occasionally be required. Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. Occasional domestic or international travel may be required for training.
