Job Description

IDEAL Fastener is hiring a Chemical Oxidation Line Operator to run our automated brass oxidation bath line. You will process brass zipper components through a controlled chemical oxidation / antiquing finish production line. What you will do Operate the automated oxidation line: load parts, run clean-rinse-oxidize-rinse-dry, and unload finished product. Hold process settings (time, temperature, concentration, pH) so color and coverage match the standard. Check bath chemistry, add makeup chemicals as trained, and keep production logs. Inspect parts for even antique/oxidized finish and flag defects immediately. Keep the line clean, do basic equipment checks, and follow chemical and PPE rules. What we need High school diploma or GED. Able to follow written work instructions and work safely around industrial chemicals. Stand most of the shift; lift up to 25 lbs.; handle barrels, baskets, and small metal parts. This is a full-time, on-site manufacturing role. We will train the right person who is reliable, detail-oriented, and serious about safety.
