Manufacturing Technician Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Buxton to hire 2nd Shift Manufacturing Technicians!
Pay:
$23.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday |3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Position Summary Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and motivated individuals for a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Technician position. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging, labeling, and inspecting finished products while supporting production operations to ensure quality standards and production goals are met. You will work closely with the production team to keep operations running efficiently and safely. This position also offers a clear career advancement path to a Line Operator role, with opportunities for pay increases through training and certification. Essential Responsibilities Promote and maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform final visual inspections to ensure product quality. Label and package finished products according to company standards. Track production quantities to help maintain efficiency and production goals. Assist with production line start-ups, shutdowns, tooling changes, and downstream equipment setup. Learn and follow product specifications and packaging requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area through good housekeeping practices. Participate in ongoing training opportunities to develop new skills and advance within the company. Qualifications Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Dependable with a strong work ethic. Willingness to learn new skills and procedures. Team-oriented with good communication skills. Basic math skills. Physical Requirements Ability to perform physical work for extended periods in varying temperatures. Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and climbing on and off equipment. Ability to stand and remain active throughout an 8-hour shift. Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to handle and move finished products safely.
