We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a Production Technician. This exciting role involves performing light secondary work such as cleaning & washing parts, deburring, buffing, TFE, straightening and simple machining. The variety of tasks ensures you will never be bored! What will you do? On any given day, your responsibilities would include: Performing light secondary deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding, and straightening of parts. Performing drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work and simple machining. Running machinery following all processes and procedures, including soap/detergent usage, coating mixtures, oven temperatures, cure times, waste cleanup and more. Transfering material and parts from one location to another, including loading parts into machinery properly. Working from blueprints and other technical documents. Checking finished items for quality. Performing preventative maintenance on equipment. Includes removal of any foreign matter. Reporting defective material, any unusual condition or circumstance to supervisor. Following standard practices and procedures as outlined by company policy. You are a great fit if you have the following: High school degree or GED Strong fine motor skills Good math skills Ability to read blueprints Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers Minimum of one year manufacturing experience and/or training Why should you join our team?
