QCi is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assembly, Test, and Quality Control Engineer to join our team. In this vital role, you will assemble cutting-edge products, conduct thorough testing to ensure they exceed quality standards and specifications, and play a key role in our quality control processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams of electrical, FPGA, optical, mechanical, embedded, and software engineers, you will enhance product performance, troubleshoot challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in our products. Responsibilities:

Assemble electronic, optical, and mechanical components that are part of our quantum machines with precision and care, adhering to specifications and engineering drawings. Perform functional testing and troubleshooting on assembled products to ensure proper operation. Document test results and assembly processes accurately following company standards. Identify and diagnose issues in prototypes or production units and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and product performance. Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure a safe and clean work environment. Adhere to all safety and quality standards to uphold product integrity.

Required Skills & Experience:

Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanics, or a related field. Prior experience in a testing or assembly role, preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using test equipment and tools, including experience with lab instruments such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers. Dexterity in the use of hand tools, electronics soldering, and board reworking. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Able to lift weights to OSHA limit (50 lbs.) when required (occasionally). Manual dexterity to perform intricate assembly and testing tasks. Capacity to stand or sit for extended periods while performing job duties. Excellent problem-solving skills, open-minded, and a keen attention to detail.
