Job Description

Impact Farms LLC is hiring a part-time Production Technician for a licensed cannabis manufacturing facility in Albuquerque. This is a hands-on production role involving pre-roll manufacturing, packaging, labeling, equipment operation, quality checks, cleaning, and production records. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with repetitive production work.
Responsibilities include:
Roll, package, label, and prepare cannabis products Operate and assist with grinders, rolling machines, scales, labeling equipment, and other production equipment Weigh and stage cannabis materials Perform quality checks during and after production Complete production records accurately Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas Follow SOPs, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and New Mexico cannabis regulations Report equipment issues, quality concerns, safety hazards, or compliance issues Perform other duties reasonably related to cannabis manufacturing, packaging, inventory, quality, facility maintenance, and company operations Required qualifications: Must be at least 21 years old Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to satisfy applicable background check and licensing requirements under New Mexico cannabis regulations Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable ability to report to the assigned work location as scheduled Preferred qualifications: Manufacturing, food production, kitchen prep, laboratory, pharmaceutical, packaging, warehouse, or cannabis experience Mechanical aptitude or basic troubleshooting ability Basic computer skills Physical requirements: This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, repetitive hand movements, grasping, pinching, fine motor tasks, and working around cannabis plant material, odors, airborne particles, and cleaning agents while wearing required PPE. Compensation:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, availability, reliability, and ability to independently perform production responsibilities. Most candidates should expect to start between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour, with higher starting rates reserved for directly relevant production, packaging, cannabis, or equipment experience.
Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 15-25 hours per week. Additional hours may become available based on business needs, company growth, and employee performance. Impact Farms LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
