Friday Job Description:
You will support packaging and manufacturing operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting specialized folding and gluing equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.
Key responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot folder-gluer and related manufacturing equipment Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment adjustments to ensure optimal performance Monitor production quality and conduct in-process quality checks Read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and measurements Follow and document work according to GMP, SOPs, and safety protocols Accurately complete production documentation and maintenance records Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and efficiency Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve equipment or process issues Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred Fields of Study:
Technical/Mechanical Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or maintenance experience
Preferred Experience:
Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and repair preferred Experience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred Experience with folding machines, press operations, or similar specialized equipment is a plus
Knowledge:
Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and quality control practices Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems preferred
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical documentation Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy Effective verbal and written communication skills
Abilities:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required Willingness to handle chemicals and work in an industrial manufacturing environment What happens next: Once you apply, you'll proceed to the next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
