Unlike traditional retainers, the moses retainer doesn't cause microplastics to accumulate in your body. About the Role We are looking for a Production Technician to help produce retainers at our office in NYC (Chinatown). We are a small, venture-backed startup, and you'll help us scale from tens of retainers per day to hundreds. You'll operate all parts of our production process. It's mostly fine detail work with your hands and operating small bench-top equipment, with the occasional need to lift up to 40 lbs. Our process is changing week-to-week, and you will have a strong voice in shaping that evolution. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role. Work hours are approximately 10AM-6:30PM Mon-Fri (30m for lunch). Occasional overtime may be required. The pay range for this role is $25-30/hr, depending on skills and experience. We are looking for candidates who can start in late September or early October, with the possibility of working part-time before then. Your most important responsibility is quality: We'll rely on you to make sure bad product never makes it out the door. Requirements Constant attention to detail. You notice small problems before they become big ones. Hardworking and reliable, with a desire to learn new skills and get better at what you do. Able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently. Nice to Have Experience making dental retainers/aligners is a plus. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
