As a Machine Operator, you will operate and assist with the setup of various production equipment used to manufacture overhead door components. Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred but not required . We provide paid, hands-on training for motivated candidates with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with machine setup and product changeovers. Load raw materials into machines using forklifts or overhead cranes (training provided). Read work orders and produce parts according to specifications. Measure and inspect finished products using tape measures, gauges, and other measuring tools. Perform quality checks throughout the production process. Assist with receiving, staging, and organizing materials and inventory. Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow company safety policies and work effectively as part of a team. Cross-train on multiple machines and manufacturing processes as needed. Qualifications Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred but not required. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices. Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Basic English communication skills preferred. Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
