Job Description
Production Technician / CNC Machinist Bedford, OH $45,000-$48,000/year | Approximately $22-$23/hour 1st Shift | Direct Hire Champion Personnel is hiring a Production Technician in Bedford, Ohio. This is a direct-hire opportunity! We manufacture resistance welding equipment used in the automotive, appliance, HVAC, and agricultural industries, supporting major companies including Ford, Honda, GM, and Subaru. Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Includes a 1-hour lunch and two breaks. What You'll Do This is a hands-on manufacturing position with a variety of responsibilities, including: Operate a CNC mill Operate a manual lathe and other shop equipment as needed Perform basic machine setups Read and interpret blueprints/prints Use micrometers and calipers to inspect finished parts Maintain machines, equipment, and tooling Produce components used in resistance welding equipment Operate a tow motor/forklift Enter information into the company's computer system Assist shipping when needed Maintain clean and organized work areas What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who has: At least 2 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment CNC mill experience Experience with manual machining equipment Ability to read and interpret prints Experience using micrometers and calipers Tow motor/forklift experience Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Willingness to multitask and help in different areas of the operation What's the Environment Like? This is a heavy manufacturing environment, and you'll see equipment including CNC mills, lathes, drill presses, and band saws. Why This Opportunity?
