In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and organizing materials within the production environment, ensuring smooth workflow on the assembly line. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to maintaining high safety standards and optimizing manufacturing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to quality and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Loads and unloads production racks in a timely and accurate manner to maximize production. Packs finished parts as specified in a timely and accurate manner. Handles finished parts gently to prevent scratches while packing. Transfers racks onto or off the e-coat line and powder line as instructed or as necessary. Material handling and setup. Lot control (does not mix parts or lots). Inspects and identifies defects coated parts and segregates non-conforming parts as required. Identifies obvious defects on incoming parts during setup/racking and notifies supervision. Tank maintenance. Housekeeping and cleanup. Documentation as required or as necessary. Any work assignment as directed by the Production Shift Supervisor or Asst.
