F&P America Manufacturing has been a part of the Troy community for more than 25 years. Our world-class workforce utilizes the most advanced processes to produce the highest quality Chassis Systems, Suspension Parts, Pedal Assemblies and more for the world leading automakers. We are seeking highly qualified candidates for the following opportunity. Production Hand Welders 1st, 2nd or 3rd Shift Starting pay rate: $21.35 (Includes $1.00 p/hr shift premium for 2nd/3rd shifts) Performs duties required to inspect and repair welds (Mig) on automotive parts.|

Responsibilities:

Perform 100% visual inspection on all welds. Repair any welds that do not meet specifications. Tap required nuts for spatter removal. Inspects parts for quality concerns. Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor. Conducts machine operation and safety checks on prescribed intervals. Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency). Other duties as assigned to maintain production.

Qualifications:

High School diploma/GED preferred Follow all safety requirements of the company - PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, weld sleeves) safe job behaviors, etc. Able to read and understand operation standards and job instructions. Able use basic tools. Able to stand for long periods of time. Required to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas. F&P America Manufacturing offers competitive wages with pay increases every 6 months. Additional eligible pay includes attendance and work performance bonuses.
