RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Become proficient in how the involved machines operate regarding mechanics, programs, safety, etc. Print, read, and understand company policies, procedures, and job tickets. Requires basic troubleshooting skills. Achieve department production rates. Perform routine quality checks and document results to ensure consistency. Develop a general understanding of the functions prior to and after the function being performed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A
high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use basic math and measuring skills. Ability to organize tasks and ensure timely completion of assigned work. Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions. To be able to possess leadership skills when having helpers on machines. Communicate effectively and professionally (both verbally and in writing) with others inside and outside the organization. Requires a very high level of attention to detail. Standing on a regular basis for a minimum of 8 hours per shift. Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturday schedules.Responsibilities:
- Assemble products according to specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate and assemble components
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Operate forklift to move materials within the warehouse
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
