Job Description

Production Technician Pay Rate and Hours:
$20.00.hr M-F 5am-3:30pm Production Technician This role in summary will support prototype creation, engineering builds, and manufacturing trials. This role bridges the gap between design and production. You will manage critical components, help to communicate and troubleshoot findings coming from engineering builds and trials, and coordinate local and remote product and part shipments and local support.
Your responsibilities will include:
Build Support:
Assemble prototype appliances and electro-mechanical systems.
Trial Execution:
Support manufacturing line trials and pilot runs on-site.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Help to communicate and diagnose issues in hardware, wiring, and integration systems.
Logistics Coordination:
Package and ship prototype units/ parts to local and remote teams.
Data Collection:
Record build defects and test metrics for engineering review.
Equipment/ Space Maintenance:
Calibrate and maintain tools used for integration testing. Maintain the 3P area 5S. Minimum requirements
Production Technician Education:
High school diploma or equivalent technical school certificate.
Production Technician Experience:
Two years of technician experience in a manufacturing facility.
Production Technician Technical Skill:
Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Production Technician Physical Demands:
Capability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly/ walking and/or dolly product across long distances.
Production Technician Tool Fluency:
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic multimeters.
Production Technician Computer Literacy:
Proficiency in operating spreadsheets to track build data.
Production Technician Digital Skills:
Ability to create and edit technical presentations for team updates. Production Technician Preferred skills and experiences
Appliance Expertise:
Prior experience working with appliance/ product systems.
Production Technician Communication:
Strong written skills to document issues for remote engineers/ Oral communication skills (with individuals of diverse backgrounds) to execute with floor personnel for the purposes of shipments, retrieving parts, running trials, laboratory testing, etc
Production Technician Inventory Control:
Familiarity with tracking prototype parts and units using inventory data sheets.
Production Technician SAP Knowledge:
To be able to read BOM and search for part/ product information.
