W2 through staffing supplier
Pay Rate:
$28-$30/hr (dependent on shift)
Shifts:
Various Day and Evening Shifts (typically 3-4 12-hour shifts/week) •Training (first 6-8 weeks) may be required on an alternate shift
Description:
Operates complex equipment and analytical tools in an ESD environment. Technicians are required to wear ESD lab coat and conductive shoe straps along with safety glasses during work. Multi-tasked responsibilities may include minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing and problem-solving. Primary job duties are to maximize output using constraint management techniques while sustaining process, equipment issues, training and cross training cluster members. Position requires working efficiently from standard procedures and specifications. Some, if not all, tasks performed require repetitive motion to an extent. Position is highly physical where candidates need to be able to stand, move, walk, etc throughout the day.
Requirements:
-AA degree (technical discipline) + 1 year work experience in Semiconductor cleanroom (military experience accepted in lieu of Associate degree) OR meet one of these qualifications:
COMPLETED HS
Diploma/GED with: 3-year work experience in Semiconductor cleanroom OR 3-year work experience in production with a focus on utilizing computers/ software. (High School Diploma/GED require
PREFERRED
Previous semiconductor client experience in a lab or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with utilizing basic electronic assembly tools e.g., wire strippers, cutters, soldering irons, electric torque drivers, and screw drivers. Some background in small electrical devices manufacturing a plus.
