Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Technician will be responsible for supporting the daily operations at our GVB facilities and ensuring the smooth execution of the production schedule and related activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct thorough inspections to ensure product quality meets standards. Maintain organized and secuAssist in receiving products from internal or external sources. Aid in loading and unloading received and transported products. Safely transfer and handle product between containers and production equipment, such as the Distillation Unit or Bio Reactor. re storage of all products. Ensure proper labeling of products. Assist in accurate weighing and record-keeping of products. Contribute to the production of hemp-derived products, including Distillate and Isolate. Prepare processing rooms, equipment, and products for production. Adhere to required personal protective equipment (PPE) and hygiene policies. Follow management instructions to achieve production goals. Perform regular preventative maintenance on primary equipment. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness through regular housekeeping activities. Organize workstations and keep them clean. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and clean. Manage product containers to maintain internal cleanliness and fitness for use. Upkeep and Cleaning of production areas is required by all employees

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Strong emphasis on safety and commitment to quality. Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently. Proficiency in following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Punctuality, good attendance, and a positive attitude. Basic data entry and computer skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Mechanical aptitude is desirable. Ability to obtain a forklift operator certification issued by the company. Physical ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.

The employee must be able to move and/or lift objects up to 50 pounds often. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. (

Note:

All employees must wear company-approved PPE while in the plant and warehouse areas).

From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 48.0 per week
