JOB SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible to build products under the supervision of the manufacturing lead. Our Company promotes a fun and friendly work environment. - Assemble electrical assemblies/subassemblies using manual and power hand tools.
- Meet build schedules.
- Read and interpret manufacturing documentation (mechanical drawings, schematics, BOMs, etc.).
- Learn, and perform in compliance with, Workmanship Standards and industry specifications.
- Use measurement and diagnostic tools to test and modify assemblies.
- Ensure assemblies/subassemblies meet establish specifications.
- Perform additional manufacturing related duties as assigned by Lead, Production Supervisor, or Manager.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Contribute to achieving daily and area goals of the team assigned.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrably strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Experience with basic computer workstation and standard office applications.
- Experience working under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and a strong focus on customer service.
- Experience working independently to complete assignments as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to speak clearly on telephone.
