Role and Responsibilities 1. Participate in Safety Recognition program, staying actively engaged in Safety. 2. Follow ALL Safe work practices, LOTO, PPE, JHA's, Wait for the Wave, etc. 3. Meet all quality standards and customer requirements. 4. Complete lift truck training (online and hands-on by trainer on the shop floor) 5. Ability to operate a tow-motor and attachments required to do job-plate, forks, clamps. 6. Skill and ability to meet or exceed production standards. 7. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. 8. Ability to operate plant scanners and computers to print or scan tickets and conduct inventory. 9. Participate in Root Cause Analysis exercise for Safety, Reliability, Cost, and Quality. 10. Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work area. 11. Ability to learn and perform well on multiple types of machinery. 12. Ability to learn how to safely work with blocking/cutting and/or lamination equipment. 13. Perform daily machine checklist and promptly report any items requiring attention. 14. Correctly and consistently use SAP operations reporting. Accurate bin to bin movements and issuing of goods. 15. Work well in a team-based setting and communicate effectively with co-workers. 16. Assist in the training of new employees within the department. 17. Accurately measure WIP and finished goods. 18. Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
