Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Safety Recognition program, staying actively engaged in Safety.
  • Follow ALL Safe work practices, LOTO, PPE, JHA's, SOPs, Wait for the Wave, etc.
  • Assist in set-up of foam machine to run specified foam grades.
  • Upon run, complete cleaning of any equipment used.
  • Cross train in some or all areas of the pourline including but not limited to offloading chemicals, moving buns from one location to another, etc.
  • Complete fork truck training (online and hands-on by trainer on the shop floor)
  • Meet all quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Skill and ability to meet or exceed the standardized expectations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate plant scanners and computers.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis exercise for Safety, Reliability, Cost, and Quality.
  • Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work area. Willing to correct unsafe conditions under his/her control and report those s/he cannot fix to a lead or supervisor. (Responsible for handling foam without damage, and reporting damage if it does occur)
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervision
  • Work well in a team-based setting.
  • Able to prioritize activities and communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Perform daily inspection checklist on lift truck and promptly report any items requiring attention.
  • Ability to identify and communicate any issues/potential issues which have the potential to impact safety, customer satisfaction, or delivery.
  • Assist in the training of new employees within the department.
Qualifiations:
  • High School Diploma or GED Preferred Skills
  • Above-average computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.
).
