available after 90 days As a Production Technician, you will learn and become proficient in our manufacturing processes, policies, and procedures while working with drawings, assembly instructions, parts lists, tools, equipment, and materials. Responsibilities include gathering and preparing parts and materials, assembling products accurately and efficiently, using measuring devices and working with fractions and decimals, inspecting completed components, verifying specifications, and identifying and communicating production or assembly issues. The position also involves operating hand tools, light manufacturing equipment, and, when required, a forklift; performing fabrication work on equipment and components; packaging finished products for shipment; monitoring inventory levels; completing production documentation; and contributing ideas and effort toward improving production processes. Production Technicians are also expected to help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment by keeping equipment clean and operational, performing basic preventive maintenance, following established safety procedures, maintaining an organized work area, returning tools and materials to their proper locations, and participating in monthly shop shutdowns and detailed cleaning. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, willing to learn, attentive to detail, comfortable working with tools and measurements, able to follow drawings and written instructions, and capable of communicating problems effectively. A positive attitude, respect for coworkers, and pride in quality workmanship are essential.
