Job Summary Salary Range:
$19.00 to $22.00 Per Hour dependent upon education and experience. The Service Depot Technician II is responsible for effectively troubleshooting the cause of non-conformances of customer returned Ivenix devices and identifying the required repair in accordance with service depot procedures. The position includes performing technical analysis, testing, and rework of non-conforming parts returned to the service depot. Critical to each of these skills is the ability to properly document and summarize the investigations. Other responsibilities may include performing failure evaluation of non-conforming parts returned from the field. Responsibilities
Monitor daily quality and productivity
Keep the required amount of service depot throughput at an acceptable level
Setup, debug, and operate mechanical and/or electrical test equipment
Teach and assist in proper troubleshooting to maximize workflow
Keep work areas always hazard free and safe
Follow company policy and guidelines
Always maintain quality assurance
Performing sorting, reworking, and testing per instructions provided by engineering
Willingness to work overtime, especially during emergency situations
Be able to complete documentation clearly and concisely.
Frequently lifts and/or moves material and/or objects (up to 50 lbs)
Execution of routine service depot operations
Efficiently inspecting and repairing finished medical devices
Continuous Improvement for local processes
Maintenance of equipment in working area
Conduct work in a safe manner, notifying management of safety issues and risks
Assumes other duties and responsibilities as directed by the manager
Participates in all reasonable work activities as assigned by management. Continuous Improvement Participates in continuous quality improvement.
Contribute improvement ideas and suggestions.
Attend workshops as required; open to cross training and becoming multi-skilled. Administration Review and Completion of all required service documentation per order
Participate in meetings as needed. Knowledge and Compliance Maintain a current and comprehensive knowledge of relevant procedures and policies.
Compliance with relevant Acts, legal demands, code of conduct and ethical standards. All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
- GED/High School diploma required.
- Preferred associate degree in electronics
- 1 - 3 years' experience, or minimum Associate degree in electronics or mechanical technology will provide equivalent years of experience.
- Quality minded and excellent attention to detail.
- Willing to work as a team player.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Able to take direction and work on service depot requirements as needed (after training).
- Computer literate.
