Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician, 3rd Shift and 2nd shift, 3-6 months, Contract to Hire
Job Description
Chemical Manufacturing Technician Excellent 3-6 month contract to hire opportunity with great semiconductor manufacturing company. Will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of chemical products while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. The role involves handling raw materials, monitoring processes, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining accurate production records. This role must follow standard operating procedures, comply with environmental safety regulations, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Duties:
Operate, monitor, and adjust chemical manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. Equipment operations include but are not limited to tank inerting, tank charging, filtration setup, and making batch adjustments. Handle, measure, mix, and blend raw materials according to specified formulations, following both safety and quality guidelines. Collect samples for QC lab analysis. Perform basic equipment cleaning and troubleshooting. Accurately process production data transactions in ERP system (SAP). Ensure proper labelling, marking, and storage of products according to specified requirements, segregating product when necessary. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and hazardous material handling procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, safety programs, and required training to enhance operational knowledge and compliance. Adhere to 5S practices to maintain a clean and safe work environmentRequired :
High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of manufacturing experience Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to lift up to 20 poundsDesired:
Experience with chemical and/or hazardous material Technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred. Experience with SAP preferred. Forklift experience and certificationJob Types:
