Our well-established, small manufacturing company is looking for a part time position and potentially a full-time production assistant.

Duties would include:

• Assisting production manager with daily tasks
• Finishing projects within designated deadlines
• Independently managing production projects and providing status reports to production manager
• Quality Checking
• Wood work: sanding and assembling wood frames
• Metal cutting
• able to use Metal chop saw.
• Laser engraving simple products such cups, cutting boards and tumblers.

Ideal candidates must be self-motivated, and be able to multi-task very efficiently. They must be reliable, mechanically/electrically inclined, able to work with hand tools, and can work standing for long periods of time when needed. Must have a positive personality. Must be willing to meet delivery deadlines. Very rarely, occasions will occur for candidate to come in early or stay later for these deadlines. This position is perfect for recent graduates with an interest in engineering and/or manufacturing; as well as for entry-level, young professionals looking to get some real hands-on experience in the engineering & development sector. We will provide training to the right candidate expressing a positive attitude and good work ethic. Furthermore, this position will provide professional experience for those looking to expand their credentials. . Position starts at $15 depending on experience. Must have valid SC driver's license. Must have own reliable transportation. Must pass background check. Must be able to lift 40LBS Any references will help but not required.
