Industry:
Manufacturing; wall systems Summary Hands-on manufacturing role supporting production in Charleston. The initial hire will help establish a flexible, cross-trained operating team as additional equipment, processes and production volume are brought online. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and support production equipment in accordance with training, work instructions and safety requirements.
  • Perform assembly, fabrication, measurement, material preparation, packaging and quality checks.
  • Use hand and power tools and learn Maars-specific machinery, products and production methods.
  • Read basic drawings, dimensions, production instructions and quality requirements.
  • Support material movement, staging, kitting, loading/unloading and general manufacturing activities as required.
  • Perform routine equipment checks, maintain an organized work area and escalate quality or equipment issues promptly.
  • Cross-train across multiple manufacturing functions and support continuous-improvement activities. Required Qualifications
  • Prior manufacturing, machine-operation, assembly, fabrication or similar industrial experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working around production equipment.
  • Ability to use basic measurement tools and follow documented instructions and quality standards.
  • Reliable attendance, safety awareness and willingness to learn and cross-train.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing role safely. Preferred Background
  • Intermediate CNC or machine-operation experience; Maars-specific equipment experience is not required.
  • Fabrication, aluminum, woodworking, architectural products, aerospace, automotive or configurable assembly.
  • Forklift/material-handling experience and prior quality or Lean exposure.
