$30.00 per hour

Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Technical training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance fields is a plus Experience Requirements 5+ years of practical experience in mechanical testing, manufacturing, or industrial equipment environments Experience testing rotating machinery such as centrifugal blowers, compressors, or dryers Proficiency using laser shaft alignment equipment Experience monitoring and documenting vibration, pressure, and temperature measurements Strong computer skills with Windows-based software for reporting and documentation Experience working with soft starters, water cooling towers, or similar auxiliary equipment preferred Job Duties Perform precision shaft alignment using laser alignment tools Conduct mechanical and operational testing on centrifugal blowers, compressors, and dryers Measure, monitor, and record vibration analysis, pressure, and temperature data Connect electrical and mechanical input/output systems for industrial equipment testing Generate detailed test reports and technical documentation Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results Communicate test findings, anomalies, and improvement recommendations to engineering teams Follow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout testing operations Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift. Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures. What You Will Do As a Manufacturing Test Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards. A Manufacturing Test Technician provides the technical support necessary to keep equipment, machinery, and facility systems functioning properly. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform repairs safely and efficiently. The Manufacturing Test Technician works with a wide range of equipment while applying preventative maintenance practices and sound technical judgment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail help ensure maintenance activities are completed accurately.
