- The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
- We are looking for an Assembly Manufacturing Technician to join our Lighting Panel team. This position will be based in Spartanburg, SC.
- The Assembly Manufacturing Technician supports Lighting Panel Assembly by sustaining production technologies, standardized work systems, and operator enablement tools.
Shift Hours:
- Monday
Thursday:
6:00am- 2:30pm;
Fridays:
5:00am- 1:30pm
Hourly Rate:
- $31.00
- Note
- : This role will start at our Roebuck, SC location and move over to our Spartanburg, SC location within 1-2 months of starting.

Basic Qualifications:
- + Ability to participate in training and development opportunities + Must be able to travel for offsite training and development.

Preferred Qualifications:
- + Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. + Experience supporting production equipment, automation systems, or digital production technologies + Experience supporting work instructions or standardized work documentation + 2 Year Technical Degree + Six Sigma experience; Green Belt or Black Belt Certified + Experience supporting training + Basic data tracking or reporting experience
- You will make an impact by:
- + Having strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy + Having basic troubleshooting mindset and technical aptitude + Having strong communication and collaboration skills + Support Production Technology & Equipment Integration + Provide first-line operational support for assembly production technologies including laser engraving systems, automation equipment, and specialty assembly tools + Perform routine readiness checks to ensure equipment stability and production availability + Assist with troubleshooting and coordinate escalation of technology-related issues + Support Manufacturing Engineering with pilot testing, process validation, and new technology implementation + Document and communicate equipment performance concerns and improvement opportunities + Support Standard Work & Documentation Sustainment + Assist with sustainment of operator instructions, visual work instructions, process checklists, and technology operation procedures + Perform floor-level verification to confirm documentation aligns with current production processes and tooling + Identify documentation gaps or usability concerns and communicate findings to Quality and Engineering + Support updates and improvements to documentation clarity and operator usability + Assist with communication and implementation of approved documentation updates + Support Training Enablement & Operator Success + Support supervisors, coordinators, and group leaders in maintaining effective training materials + Support operator adoption of new technologies and process changes + Support Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement + Assist with Lean deployment and sustainment activities including standard work confirmation and visual management improvements + Support waste identification and root cause problem-solving initiatives + Assist with implementation and sustainment of continuous improvement projects + Maintain regular floor engagement to identify process variation and improvement opportunities + Support SQDCIP Performance Objectives + Develop working knowledge of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, and People performance metrics + Support initiatives that improve documentation accuracy, technology reliability, training effectiveness, and standardized work sustainment + Support Cross-Functional Manufacturing Collaboration + Serve as an operational liaison between Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Safety •
