Job details Summary Spherion $20.00 - $21.00 per hour Temp to Perm 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_180494 Job details Spherion is hiring Axle Assemblers in Sioux Falls. In this role, you will assemble, test, and verify axles and related components on an active assembly line to ensure high-quality standards, safety, and customer specifications are met.
Pay:
$20-21/hour
Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 5:30am-2pm, overtime voluntary (3pm end, 1 OT hr/day) ...
Responsibilities:
Assembly & Operation:
Read order sheets, select correct components, load/unload production lines, and adjust or change production tooling.
Quality Control:
Perform 100% manual inspections, measure parts with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges), and apply offsets to meet specs.
Maintenance & Cleanliness:
Complete daily preventative maintenance, clear chips/shavings, replenish fluids, and follow 5S workplace cleanliness standards.
Documentation & Safety:
Complete required production paperwork and strictly adhere to all safety regulations.
Working hours:
5:30 AM - 2:00

Technical Skills:
