Job Description

Job Summary:
The Line Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced tea and coffee manufacturing environment. This position ensures products are produced, packaged, and labeled according to company quality and production standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment on an assigned production line. Set up, start, stop, and make basic adjustments to equipment as needed. Feed materials and packaging components into the production line. Monitor product flow and equipment performance to maintain consistent production. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications. Inspect packaging, labels, seals, and finished products for defects. Remove damaged or defective products from the production line. Keep the production area clean and organized throughout the shift. Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Complete required production paperwork and documentation accurately. Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, or production problems to the Lead or Supervisor. Assist with line changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting. Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or machine operation experience preferred. Food or beverage manufacturing experience is a plus. Ability to operate machinery and learn new equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math and measurement skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and use hands. Ability to lift and move materials/products as required. Ability to work around moving machinery and production equipment. Ability to wear required PPE and follow food safety requirements.
