Job Description

Overview We're hiring Assembly Technicians for a large, established plastics manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on production assembly role where manufactured components move through multiple assembly, finishing, inspection, and packaging processes before becoming completed products. Depending on the station, you may use hand and pneumatic tools, operate in-line production equipment, perform quality checks, handle materials, or prepare finished products for the next stage of production. The work is physical and fast-paced, but there is significantly more variety than a traditional repetitive assembly position. Team members can learn multiple stations, work with different equipment and processes, and continue expanding their manufacturing skills over time.

Day Shift:
Rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 12-hour shifts
Night Shift:
Rotating 4-on / 4-off schedule, 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities Production Assembly:
Assemble manufactured components according to established work instructions and production standards.
Tools & Equipment:
Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and in-line assembly equipment to complete production tasks.
Quality Checks:
Inspect components and finished products for defects, accuracy, and overall quality.
Finishing & Packaging:
Complete finishing, labeling, wrapping, strapping, packaging, and related downstream production activities.
Material Handling:
Load, unload, move, and organize components and finished products throughout the assembly process.
Process Monitoring:
Identify quality, production, or equipment issues that could create downtime or scrap.
Production Documentation:
Complete required production and quality records accurately.
Cross-Training:
Learn and rotate across multiple assembly stations as production needs change and your skills develop. Requirements Qualifications Required Ability to perform physical, hands-on production work throughout a 12-hour shift Ability to regularly stand, bend, reach, lift, and handle materials Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment Strong attention to quality and safety Ability to follow written work instructions and standardized production processes Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred 1+ years manufacturing, production, or assembly experience Production assembly experience High-volume manufacturing experience Experience performing in-process quality inspections
