Entry Level Shop Hand - Surveillance Trailers About VigilanteX VigilanteX builds rugged, AI-powered mobile surveillance systems used to protect critical sites across the U.S. From construction zones to energy facilities, our technology keeps people and assets safe. We're looking for an Entry-Level Shop Hand who's ready to work hard, learn fast, and be part of a team that builds the most advanced security trailers in the country. Key Responsibilities Assist with general shop and warehouse operations, including cleaning, organizing, and staging parts Support assembly teams with loading, unloading, and prepping components for production Help route wiring, mount electrical components, and assemble trailer systems under supervision Safely use hand tools, drills, and shop equipment (training provided) Track and restock hardware, wiring, and consumables to maintain shop efficiency Assist with trailer prep and post-build cleanup before coating or shipment Perform basic quality checks and report missing parts or issues to leads Safely move materials and trailers within the yard using approved equipment (forklift training available) Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace Take direction from lead technicians and contribute to a fast-paced, team-driven environment Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older No prior experience required — training provided for motivated candidates Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with hand tools preferred Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn electrical, fabrication, and assembly work Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions accurately Why Join VigilanteX We're not building toys — we're building machines that protect lives and property.
