Job Purpose:
Primary purpose of this job is to maintain, repair and improve machinery throughout the factory. Successful applicant will have a strong skill set in automation. Must have the ability to detect minor problems, correct them or eliminate them before they become major issues.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
Evaluates, dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts Performs all repairs of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical parts for SMT and other Robotic assembly equipment Repairs all support equipment including conveyors and soldering robotics Troubleshoots issues in work cells containing as many as 5 integrated machines Created spare parts lists and preventive maintenance procedures Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment Performs general building maintenance and other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree / 2 year Technical Degree or equivalent experience 2-4 years of related experience required Experience working with SMT and other robotic assembly equipment preferred Ability to work in both team environment and able to be self directed Ability to work well with other members of the technical and production staffs Results and Quality Oriented Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and comprehend technical literature Ability to read and comprehend schematics and technical instructions Ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non technical personnel Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer
