Under general supervision, performs welding applications within one or more work teams. Performs visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications. s facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team. Responsible for supporting the team and team's objectives. Responsible for training team members. Required to pass periodic welding tests and qualifications inpliance with qualification procedures. Job Duties/Responsibilities Set-up/run RT & UT Quality Strip Splice Weld Processes - 2 (GTAW/PAW). Grind and Finish welds to tight tolerances Inspect weld dimensions using calibrated Micrometer and Calipers Run Assembly Production Line equipment Know how to run all welding equipment. Skills/Knowledge Knowledge of welding processes. Must have a strong understanding of how to interpret and use welding specifications, and welding procedures. Must be able to use and read welding measuring devices to include but not limited to micrometer, caliper. Ability to read and follow WPS's/PQR's. Ability to lead others and plan ahead Knowledge ofPT, MT, UT, RT
methods. Ability to make correct decisions Speed of aplishing tasks Ability to work safely Proficient in Over Head Crane and Forklift Operations Education High School Diploma or equivalent diploma. Successfulpletion of welding tests and qualifications. Experience 1+ year of experience. This is a safety sensitive position.
