Job Description
Manufacturing technician will operate production equipment and tools used for assembly and manufacturing of aircraft grade edge-lite panels. Knowledge of hand soldering to IPC J Standards and standard paint practices would be VERY beneficial. Technician must to be able to follow guidelines, diagrams, and schematics to ensure tolerance and product specifications are met. Technician must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the PCB manufacturing field. This individual must be able to work well with little supervision and will report to the Manufacturing Manager and Production Director. Knowledge of surface mount components and soldering is highly preferred. Person will assemble panels throughout different manufacturing procedures and ensure quality workmanship.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (minimum educational requirement) Good communication skills both verbal and written in English Basic knowledge of currentIPC J-STD-001E

Knowledge of soldering, SMT reflow ovens, and DC Power supplies 2-5 years of manufacturing assembly/soldering experience in an electronics production environment Ability to take, read and calculate measurements in decimals Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds A degree of creativity is essential for this positionResponsibilities:
Hand soldering of various lamps, capacitors, and resistors on PCB's. Surface mount (SMT's) components and assembly Assembly of edge-lite panels (ELP's) ensuring FOD standards are met Conforming parts throughout production cycle to ensure specifications are met.Job Type:
