Full Job Description Description:
OFS Facility Operations | BOP & Surface Pressure Control Equipment Force Pressure Control is seeking a safety-oriented BOP Production Technician to support our Midland facility. This position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, assembling, and testing BOPs and surface pressure control equipment to ensure equipment is ready for field operations. Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble BOPs and associated pressure control equipment Perform preventative maintenance, pressure testing, and function testing of equipment Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or other issues and communicate needed repairs Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic equipment issues Prepare BOP equipment and components for upcoming field jobs Maintain accurate service, inspection, and testing documentation Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and movement of equipment throughout the facility Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding equipment status, repairs, and priorities Participate in and comply with
FPC QHSE
programs, safe work practices, and all applicable safety rules and procedures
Requirements:
Experience working with BOP, wellhead, or other surface pressure control equipment preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Ability to safely lift, move, and work around heavy equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment The BOP Production Technician position is a full time, non-exempt position.
