We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Line Operator to support our bottling and packaging operations. Position Summary The Production Line Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining bottling and packaging equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role plays a key part in meeting production goals while upholding quality, safety, and compliance standards. Local candidates (within 40 miles of Smithville) strongly preferred as this role requires you to be on site. This position requires flexibility. While normal hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., production needs may require earlier start times, later end times, and occasional Saturday shifts. We are offering this role as a contract opportunity. Key Responsibilities Operate bottling, labeling, filling, capping, and packaging equipment Set up and break down production lines for different SKUs and runs Monitor product quality, fill levels, labels, and packaging accuracy Perform basic equipment adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality records Follow all safety and sanitation procedures Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining production equipment Work collaboratively with production, quality, and warehouse teams Support inventory handling of bottles, labels, closures, and finished goods Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times Qualifications Previous manufacturing, bottling, or production experience preferred Experience in beverage, food, or alcohol production is a plus Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and quality standards Must have ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Reliable Transportation is required Preferred Skills Forklift or pallet jack experience (or willingness to be trained) Experience with labeling or automated bottling lines Basic maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting skills Familiarity with manufacturing or continuous improvement Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred Work Environment Production floor with noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, hair & ear protection, steel toe shoes) Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Compensation Hourly rate: $17 hourly
