Energetics Technician I

SUMMARY

The Energetics Technician I supports production line operations by manufacturing propellant in accordance with established procedures and manufacturing worksheets. This position involves chemical mixing and handling, operating light machinery, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

& RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms line functions under the direction of the Line SupervisorAdd and mix chemicals to manufacture propellant per manufacturing worksheetsFollow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectivesNotify supervisor of defective materialsOperate dolly, drum roller or other machinery as neededUses quality control methods to verify goods are consistent with required standards; uses proper QC, and company established formsNotifies supervisor of defective materialsMay operate scales, paint shaker and vibration machineryPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

EDUCATION
