Instead of fitting customers in person, we use 3D scanning technology to create physical replicas of each customer's feet. Those replicas move through our Salt Lake City production facility, where our team modifies and customizes each pair of boots. We're looking for a Ski Bootfitting Production Technician whose primary station will be punching and grinding . This is a hands-on, non-customer-facing position and a unique opportunity to take traditional bootfitting skills into a completely different production environment. What You'll Do Your main responsibility will be punching and grinding ski boot shells using our customers' physical foot replicas and custom fit specifications as your guide. You'll make precise modifications to create the necessary space and fit within each boot while maintaining the integrity of the shell. You'll own this station within our production line, inspect your work for accuracy and quality, and help keep orders moving efficiently through the customization process. While punching and grinding will be your primary focus, you'll also be cross-trained at other Boot Solutions production stations and jump in where needed. We're Looking For Someone Who We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in precise work, and is comfortable taking ownership of their station. You should be able to follow detailed measurements and specifications while maintaining consistent quality from one pair of boots to the next. You don't need to be interacting with customers or diagnosing feet in this role. Instead, you'll be applying bootfitting and modification skills to the physical replicas created from each customer's scan . We're especially looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable using bootfitting tools and equipment in a fast-moving production environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous ski bootfitting experience is preferred, particularly experience punching and grinding ski boot shells . Familiarity with ski boot construction, shell modification, bootfitting equipment, or other hands-on ski industry work is a major plus.
