Day shift initially; may transition to night shift Job Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 to support production operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, maintaining production efficiency, ensuring quality output, following safety procedures, and supporting continuous improvement activities. This role requires a positive attitude, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities Operate production equipment according to current process specifications, procedures, and change notifications. Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure quality and efficiency. Maintain assigned workstations and follow 6S workplace organization practices. Log machines and production information as required. Monitor and respond to SPC charts and production data. Respond to failed tool qualifications and tool errors. Process engineering targets, SWRs, tests, and other assigned production activities. Monitor and collect production data and accurately document results. Disposition lots and perform troubleshooting and equipment recovery as required. Use computer-based programs and applications to perform daily job duties. Complete required on-the-job training, certifications, and recertifications. Demonstrate understanding and proficiency of assigned processes and equipment. Receive and provide clear, accurate, and detailed shift pass-down information. Communicate effectively with leadership, coworkers, and support teams. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve quality, safety, and production performance. Identify and promptly report workplace hazards. Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and workplace requirements. Use proper lifting techniques and maintain safe, ergonomic work practices. Ask questions and seek clarification when processes or instructions are unclear. Participate actively in continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. Required Qualifications 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related environment. Ability to operate equipment and follow detailed process specifications. Basic computer skills and ability to use computer-based applications. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information. Ability to follow safety procedures and identify/report hazards. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and technical procedures. Ability to complete required training, certification, and recertification requirements. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment .
