Production Test Technician Job Description The Production Test Technician handles assembled electronic devices, performs standardized testing procedures, and accurately records test data to ensure product quality and reliability. This role requires consistent execution of repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail and adherence to established processes. Responsibilities Handle assembled electronic devices safely and efficiently during the testing process. Connect units to appropriate power sources and verify proper power-up procedures. Mount products into test fixtures and ensure correct placement and secure installation. Use a computer to collect, monitor, and record test data in accordance with established procedures. Complete all required documentation accurately, thoroughly, and consistently. Follow standardized procedures for testing and inspection with a high degree of consistency. Perform quality inspections on products and test results to identify any defects or anomalies. Use hand tools and test equipment correctly and safely during assembly and testing activities. Maintain organized workstations and ensure that test fixtures and equipment are properly handled. Support continuous adherence to production and quality standards throughout the testing process. Essential Skills Experience working in production or assembly environments. Hands-on experience with electronic assembly and handling electronic devices. Proficiency using hand tools for mounting, assembly, and basic adjustments. Ability to mount products into fixtures and follow mechanical setup instructions. Experience using test equipment to perform standardized tests on electronic units. Strong attention to detail when inspecting product quality and test results. Ability to follow standardized procedures with a high degree of consistency and accuracy. Competence in using a computer to collect, enter, and manage test data.
