3005983639-2 Apply for this job now Job Description TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support production of high-quality communications, print, and advocacy materials. You will operate and maintain production equipment, follow technical specifications, monitor quality, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with account and creative teams, you'll translate client requirements into accurate production runs, track inventory, and uphold safety and compliance standards. This role suits a hands-on technician who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven public affairs setting. Responsibilities Operate and maintain manufacturing and print/production equipment according to specifications Interpret work orders, layouts, and technical instructions to set up accurate production runs Monitor product quality, perform inspections, and make adjustments to meet standards Track materials, supplies, and inventory to ensure uninterrupted production Document production metrics, issues, and maintenance activities in tracking systems Collaborate with account, creative, and operations teams to align production with client requirements Follow safety, environmental, and compliance procedures in the production area Assist with troubleshooting equipment problems and coordinating basic repairs Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce errors Help train team members on production processes and quality expectations Required Skills Manufacturing equipment operation Process documentation Quality control and inspection Basic mechanical troubleshooting Print/production workflow familiarity Inventory and materials management Safety and compliance procedures Reading technical specs and work orders Data entry and production tracking Continuous improvement/lean principles
